Extended Hours Appointment Service.
All patients registered with a GP Practice in Stockport can now book a routine appointment, up to two weeks in advance, in the evenings and Saturday & Sundays.
You may not be able to see your own GP but you will be seen by a suitably qualified health professional such as another GP, Healthcare Assistant (HCA), or practice nurse.
You can book an appointment up to two weeks in advance by calling the main number of your own GP practice.
- Monday to Friday: 6.30pm-8pm (Kingsgate Hub, Wellington Road, Stockport SK4 1LW)
- Saturdays & Sundays: 8am-12pm or 9am-1pm (Practice Hub, alternating weekends ) and 9am-4.30pm (Kingsgate Hub)
- Bank Holidays: 8am-12pm or 9am-1pm (except 25 Dec, 26 Dec or 1 Jan)

Polite Parking Request
If as a patient you need to park in the surrounding neighbourhood, please be mindful that you won't be blocking any bin collection work, that you park as close to the curb as possible and not over neighbour's drives. If at all possible, please utilise the free parking at the Village Hall. Thank you so much for your time and consideration.
On-going issues with access to the Practice by telephone
Unfortunately we are aware that it is difficult at times to contact the practice by telephone. We have reported this on-going issue to Stockport Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) & NHS GM Shared services but the fault with the telephone lines* is still unresolved, we appreciate your patience and understanding in the mean-time.
* The line fault occurs when both of our telephone lines are busy. Patients will still hear a ringing tone & are then cut off when actually the 2 lines are busy & should provide an engaged tone.

Named Accountable GP for all Patients
GP practices are now required to provide their patients with a named GP. Your named GP has overall responsibility for your care provided by the practice. This does not prevent you from seeing any GP of your choice.
